The Faculty of Animal Production Sciences and Technology was established in 2010 following the restructuring of the former Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production. Since its establishment, the Faculty has been committed to graduating highly qualified and well-trained professionals in various disciplines to develop plans and programs aimed at advancing the animal production sector—including dairy, poultry, and meat production—as well as fisheries and wildlife resources in Sudan.

The Faculty offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree programs in Animal Production Sciences and Technology, as well as specialized programs in Dairy, Poultry, and Meat Sciences and Technology, in addition to Fisheries Science and Wildlife Science.
