The General Department serves as the cornerstone and academic gateway for students at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, where it is responsible for providing students with a solid academic and practical foundation in the fundamental physical and sports sciences before they are assigned to specific specialisations within one of the following departments (School Physical Education – Sports Management – Sports Coaching – Sports Media).
